Publica: Out After Dark

Right to the City, Women’s Night Walks

Publica commissioned me to capture their: Right to the City, Women’s Night Walks. They are an initiative in collaboration with the City of London local community, Ward Councillors, the NLA and the City of London Police. The project seeks to understand women’s experiences of safety after dark, and create inclusive, healthy, and accessible public spaces where women, girls and gender diverse people feel like they belong.

This work shop was based at Smithfield and was about observing the city and defining hopes. The women in the workshop created collage poster artworks using the streets and their experiences after dark as key inspiration with artist Louisa Tan.
